Product Description
Dense corundum, using high purity alumina and reducing agent in certain ratio, smelting in electric arc furnace and cooled, is a new kind of high purity refractory raw materials.
Dense corundum, with a-Al2O3 as main principal crystalline phase, gray, I s characterized by high melting point, high bulk density, low apparent porosity, excellent wear resistance, slag resistance, steady volume and thermal shock resistance, It is an excellent refractory material in corundum series.
Dense corundum is the preferred materials for producing high performance monolithic and shaped refractory, which is used in iron & steel, cement, ceramic, petrochemical industries, etc. Dense corundum is the main starting material for monolithic refractory, such s tapping trough of blast furnace, castables, castables for ladle, ramming mix, fabricated part, etc; it is also the ideal materials for shaped refractory, such as long nozzle, submerged entry nozzle, stopper, porous brick and nozzle seating brick, etc.
