Pdlc film(polymer dispersed liquid crystal film)

Product Description

Smart film also called pdlc film (polymer dispersed liquid crystal film) which is a kind of high-tech product can switch from transparent to opaque instantaneously under electricity application. The smart film is transparent when power on and it is opaque when power off. It can be regulated and adjusted the light transmittance pass through the film by electricity supply. Structure & Principal: The smart film is composed of PET film, ITO film, Polymer and liquid crystal molecules, When the film is under off state, the randomly aligned liquid crystal molecules stay along on the walls of capsule, the reflection of the liquid crystal molecules and polymer makes light disperses then it is opaque, when electricity is supplied, these molecules arrange themselves in a specific direction then parallel light can pass through the film makes it transparent. Max size: 1500*3200mm Technical Data Operating voltage: 65VAC Frequency range: 50 ~60HZ Ampere: 100mA/sq.meter Power consumption: 5W/sq.meter Switchning speed: off - on 100 milliseconds, on - off 400 milliseconds Parallel light transmittance: 75% on, 10% off Sunlight transmittance: 80% on, 60% off Haze: 2% on, 80% off Viewing Angle: 130 UV-block: 98% Life-span: more than 10 years, warranty period: 2 years, switching time: 3 million times. Operating temperature: - 20 degree to + 60 degreen, storage temperature: + 25 degree 4. Application: the smart film is specially using for laminated in bewteen two pieces of normal glass sheets. The finish product named smart glass/ magic glass/ switchable privacy glass.
