Lignosulphonate water reducer

Product Description

What's the meaning of water reducer? Water reducers are special chemical products added to a concrete mixture before it is poured. They are from the same family of products as retarders. The first class of water reducers was the lignosulfonates, such as, sodium lignosulphonate, calcium lignosulphonate, magnesium lignosulphonate, ammonium lignosulphonate etc., which has been used since the 1930s. These products were derived from wood and paper industry, but are now advantageously replaced by other synthetic sulfonate and polycarboxylate, also known as superplasticizers, e.g. Sodium naphthalene formaldehyde, poly naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde. High range superplasticizers (dispersants) have generally been manufactured from sulfonated naphthalene condensate, although new generation products based on polycarboxylic ethers are now available. These high range water reducers are used at 1/2 to 1/3 of the lignosulfonate types. Mostly, some of our customers mix lignosulphonate with high range water reducer---sodium naphthalene formaldehyde or sodium gluconate to get good effect. What's the uses of water reducer? .reduces the water content by 5-10% .decreases the concrete porosity .increases the concrete strength by up to 25% (as less water is required for the concrete mixture to remain workable) .increases the workability (assuming the amount of free water remains constant) .reduces the water permeability (due to less water being used) .reduces the diffusivity of aggressive agents in the concrete and so improves the durability of concrete .gives a better finish to surfaces (due to all of the above) 3. What kind of water reducer does Wuhan Xinyingda Chemicals Co., Ltd. Supply? Our company not only can supply common water reducer-----------lignosulphonate series to our customers with mature technology, but also can offer high range superplasticizer--------sodium naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde with good quality. All of them acquire good comments by our customers during the days we exporting.
