Product description: The AD7524 is a low-cost, 8-bit single-chip CMOS DAC, for direct interface to most microprocessors. AD7524 is basically a band of 8-bit input latch DAC, load cycle is a random access memory "write" cycle similar. It uses advanced CMOS thin-film process, to provide 1 / 8 LSB accuracy, typically consuming less than 10 mW. New improved design eliminates the need to protect the Scotty diode, using a +5 power and guarantees TTL compatibility. Loading speed has been increased, compatible with most microprocessors.
