Casings with ns-cc connections equivalent

Product Description

Casings with NS-CC Connections Equivalent NS-CS Features Excellent gas Seal Tightness - Unique metal to metal radial seal is reliable at high pressure and combined load. Upon request resilient seal ring is available. Low Hoop Stress - Resultant hoop stress due to make-up and internal pressure is kept below SMYS (Specified Minimum Yield Strength)a most desireable feature for sour environment. Thread Lubricant Pressure release Feature - Box thread root is deeper to allow excess thread lubricant pressure to be released. Eliminates "over-doping" problems. High Joint Strength - Same as API Buttress. Anti-Galling - Excellent anti-galling performance is assured due to suitable design of seal and thread interference, and proper thread surface coating. Less Turbulent Flow Interchangeability - All NS-CC connections within a given size are interchangeable. Excellent Compression Resistance - The NSCC Connection provides 100% of the pipe body in compression strength. Running torques are 2 1/2 to 3 times the optimum make-up torque for most sizes and weights.
