Grits) are angular in shape having white structure made from cast iron scrap or pig iron having Carbon in excess of 1.7 and upto 3.5 % and hardness above 750 HV / 63 RC. These are widely used for cleaning in foundries, in castings for sand removal, for air blast applications, for removing of old paints, cleaning of castings and metallurgical materials, for blasting of stone and for cutting of stone. Furthermore, these are also suitable for etch structural steel and components prior to coating with paint, metal spray & plastics. Following are the salient features of our range: quicker cleaning action Much better quality in comparison to garnet. used in surface preparation for electroplating, enameling, painting, shot-blast cleaning of castings, forgings, rolled steel (before and after heat treatment).
