The Sonepat Hindu Education and Charitable Society, Sonepat, was established in the year 1914 by a few businessmen to impart education to the people of Sonepat, a small town and backward area of Punjab in undivided India, with a population not exceeding ten thousand. Shri Shibbamal Agarwal, an industrialist and philanthropist, donated a large piece of land, a building known as 'Zanana Hospital' Female Hospital and a huge amount in cash for the establishment of Shibba Mal Hindu High School
