We put forth for our clients Multi Stud Tensioner that is basically a segmented multi stud tensioning system (MSTS). These Multi Stud Tensioners are portable system designed to tension all studs on system closures such as steam generator primary and secondary manways, hand wheel and valve covers. This system also provides a predictable and accurate pre-load to all studs. It eliminates the problems associated with conventional torque tightening techniques such as uneven gasket pre-loads resulting in closure leakage, galling, broken fasteners, etc.
